Water Skiing Communities
Among
luxury real estate communities in the east valley are four subdivisions
that have man-made water skiing lakes with waterfront property.
One of them is Playa del Rey Estates, click here
to see a visual tour of the lake. The other subdivisions include
Crystal Point and San Tan Lakeside
Estates. Buchli Lake is the original
tournament water skiing lake in the east valley, located in
Queen Creek. Unlike many man-made lakes in residential subdivisions,
these lakes have been built specifically for water skiing, jet
skiing and wake boarding. Many of the waterfront properties
include a boat house. Many AWSA regional tournaments are held
at Buchli Lake and Crystal Point each year.
Verde
Canyon Railroad Built from 1911 - 1912, this
38 mile train line cost $1.3 million and was financed by Senator
William A. Clark. Situated in the Verde Canyon, southwest of
Sedona, the Verde Canyon is often called 'Arizona’s other Grand
Canyon' with spectacular canyon scenery on a train trip that
offers visual feasts including seasonal spring flowers, fall
foliage and hundreds of migratory birds, such as the majestic
bald eagle.
Phoenix Suns Coach D'Antoni has taken this team farther than anyone would have predicted when the season began. Reaching the western conference finals without Stoudemire and Thomas(Kurt) was a fantastic accomplishment. Thank you, Suns, for a great season and we can't wait until next season!
